Ben has developed several non-profit and for-profit business plans over the course of his career. He has founded or been the member of a founding team for six different start-up ventures, all of which were successful in achieving their goals and growth trajectories.

Most recently, Ben served as a strategic advisor to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and built a strategic plan for the True Measure Collaborative that has resulted in a 400% increase in earned revenue over three years with 90% client satisfaction rates.

Ben works with leadership teams to build business plans that serve as practical "playbooks" for launching programs and services and for securing financial investments. A business plan should always be a roadmap that guides the organization's daily activities - not a verbose document that collects dust on the shelf.​​
