Ben serves as a senior education policy advisor to think tanks and government agencies across the country.

 

He is the lead author of a comprehensive governance model ("Empowered Governance") developed in partnership with School Board Partners. The foundation of Empowered Governance is a toolkit of over 40 model local school board policies covering various topics essential to good governance and enhancing conditions for student outcomes.

Ben current works directly with several major school systems across the country as a policy advisor. He has facilitated board approval of high quality education policy reforms positively impacting the daily educational experience for hundreds of thousands of students in public schools.
